Hi Everyone,

There were many, many good things that happened on the trip. Here are just a few:
– Interns became more open to the idea of doing ministry outside the USA
– The interns bonded and their friendships deepened
– We taught on conflict resolution, and the interns really took it seriously and resolved many conflicts. I was very impressed!
– Interns learned and practiced Spanish daily

At the same time, this has been a very, very heavy season. One intern had depression and suicidal ideations, and I was emotionally supporting him/her. There were many moments when I felt hopeless and helpless, but God reminded me of His power. Two songs that have been significant for me are “Eres Todopoderoso” and “Break Every Chain.” Throughout it all, God has been stretching me. I’ve grown in my capacity to love and my leadership. This past week we decided that the intern should focus on getting well, so he/she is no longer in the internship. Please pray for the intern – that he/she would trust that God is his/her good Father who has good plans for him/her.
